OVERVIEW
The Autopilot APBC1001 Signal Conversion Module is
ideal for facilities utilizing commercial environmental
controllers to control lighting. The module converts
analog 0–10V and 0–11.5V signal into digital RS-485
signal. It features two analog inputs and four digital
outputs, divided into two zones. Each zone controls
256 fixtures, for a total of 512 fixtures per module.
The included white data link cables are shielded against
electromagnetic interference, with IP65 connectors
that protect against dust and liquid ingress. The module
is compatible with 1000W DE, 750W DE, 315 Dual
CMH, and 315W CMH single fixtures with USB port.

SETTING UP THE APBC1001 SIGNAL CONVERSION MODULE
IMPORTANT! Please have a licensed contractor familiar with low-voltage install the unit.
1. Ensure the unit is not connected to signal inputs or signal outputs.
2. Insert the round DC male plug from the DC power supply into the matching DC female port on
the unit. Plug the DC adapter into power outlet to power the unit on.
3. Using a pen or paperclip, complete the following. The "set" buttons are recessed to avoid
inadvertent changes. Reference chart on the following page.
Select the signal input voltage based on controller output signal. Please consult the
controller manufacturer if unsure.
Select the fixture wattage that is being used.
4. After settings are made, disconnect DC port from unit.
5. Connect signal input cables to unit. Remove black 3-pin connector and strip cables to expose
-/+ (black/red) wires if controller uses terminal blocks or wires. Make connections to controller.
6. Note that if an analog controller is not compatible for an M12 3-pin connector, you can peel off
the cable to connect the analog controller with a positive (red) wire and a negative (black) wire.
7. Connect light fixtures to APBC1001 outputs.
