PWM speed regulator for DC motors, 18 and 24 Vdc supply and maximum consumption of 6 Amp. The adjustment of
the width of pulse (PWM) for control of the speed is realized by means of the potentiometer of the circuit. Includes
minimum adjustment potentiometer and connection terminals.
ALIMENTATION . The circuit is powered by the same voltage as the motor. Connect the power supply to the
POWER terminal respecting the ± polarity. Install a switch for circuit protection and your own safety, according to CE
standard.
Before activating the switch, make all other circuit connections.
FUNCTIONING. Once you have made and checked the input and output connections, you can activate the switch.
Using potentiometer P 1 you can adjust the speed of the motor. It is important that you always start the engine at
maximum speed, then you can adjust it as you wish.
MINIMUM SPEED ADJUSTMENT. To adjust the minimum speed of the motor, set potentiometer P 1 and
potentiometer RV1 to minimum . With potentiometer P1 at minimum, adjust RV1 to the desired starting point for the
motor.
FACILITY. Install the circuit in a box with good ventilation. During its operation, the circuit dissipates heat, poor
ventilation reduces performance, or can cause a breakdown.
IMPORTANT: If a minimum level is established with RV1, it must be taken into account that the system will continue
to consume energy even when P1 is at minimum, producing extra consumption and even heating the motor.
