4.4. UPDATES
If an update is available, a window will open on launch.
For security reasons, we recommend that you always update the device and its software.
For updates, the device must be connected to the Internet.
4.5. VISIOCHECK® SOFTWARE
When the device is turned on, the Visiocheck® software launches automatically.

Installing a SIM card:
The device can be connected to the Internet using an M2M SIM card.
Using a paper clip or the tool provided, eject the card tray, located on the side
of the Visiocheck® device. See figure A, page 2, no. 8.
Place the SIM card as shown.
Close carefully.
Note: M2M SIM card not provided.
5. OPERATING GUIDE
5.1. USING THE THERMOMETER
Precautions before use:
To obtain reliable and stable results, whenever changing environments leave the Visiocheck® device at air temperature for 15-20 minutes before use.
To obtain reliable and stable results, before every temperature reading:
- Ensure hair is moved to one side.
- If necessary, wipe away sweat from the forehead.
- Avoid draughts of air / any significant airflow (nasal cannula, air conditioning etc.).
- Do not bring the thermometer in contact with diseased, ulcerated or bruised skin.

Taking a reading:
1. Aim for the middle of the forehead, at a maximum distance of
approximately 2-5 cm / 1-2 in.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to start the reading.
3. Press the OK button to take the reading.
4. Remain still and wait for the beep. The temperature will immediately
display on the screen.
5. After taking the reading, put the protective cap back onto the
thermometer.
Notes:
- The reliability of the reading cannot be guaranteed if the temperature is measured on another part of the body (arm, torso etc.).
- The Visiocheck® device will display temperatures between 32°C and 43°C / 89.6°F-109.4°F.
Outside of this range, the device will display OUTSIDE RANGE.
5.2. USE OF THE ECG FUNCTION
Precautions before use:
- Visiocheck® BW-X07HD is not designed to analyse the ST segment. This device is not a substitute for skilled care or appropriate monitoring by a healthcare
professional.
- Before each use, inspect the cables and replace if worn, cut or frayed.
- A low battery level can affect the precision of heart rhythm readings.
- The electrodes are single-use and disposable. Check the expiry date of the electrodes before use.
- Check the connection of the ECG cable to the device.
- Do not take readings on very moist skin
- Avoid placing electrodes on skin affected by injury, lesions, folds or blistering, avoid fatty and bony areas as well as large muscles.
- Lie or sit the patient in a comfortable position, with their back straight. The patient should be relaxed for as long as the reading is being taken.
Taking a reading:
Prepare the patient's skin by cleaning it. Shave if necessary. Dry the skin by rubbing gently.
1. Connect the ECG cable to the Visiocheck® device
2. Position the electrodes following the diagram below.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to start the reading.
4. After taking the reading, remove the electrodes from the patient's body
5. Disconnect the cable from the device.
Red electrode: right shoulder or right wrist
Yellow electrode: left shoulder or left wrist
Green shoulder: left ankle or left iliac crest
White electrode: 4th intercostal space, right side
Black electrode: right ankle or right iliac crest
