4.1. Préparation du câble
Cable preparation
1. Enlever la gaine du câble sur :
–
piquage épi : 138 cm,
–
piquage droit : 126 cm,
–
préparation standard : 150 cm.
2. Couper les mèches aramides à
20 cm de la gaine et les tresser sur
10 cm en terminant par un noeud.
oU (en cas de porteur) :
Couper les mèches aramides au
ras de la gaine et couper le porteur
à 8 cm de la gaine. Dénuder si
nécessaire 2,5 cm pour le passage
sous l'étrier.

1. Remove the cable sheath on:
–
Butt midspan: 138 cm
–
Straight midspan: 126 cm
–
Standard application: 150 cm.
2. Cut the aramid yarns 20cm
away from the sheath. Plait
the aramid yarns on 10cm and
stop with a node.
OR (in case of a strength
member): Cut the aramid yarns
level with the sheath and cut the
strength member 8cm away from
the sheath. Unstrip it if required
on 2.5cm for locking under the
clamp.
