9. ENERGY SAVING TIPS
Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is humid and hot. When you
open the door, close it as soon as possible.
Check regularly that the unit is sufficiently ventilated (sufficient air circulation around and
behind the appliance).
Under normal conditions, you should set the thermostat to the middle position.
Before placing freshly cooked food in the refrigerator or the freezer, make sure it has cooled to
room temperature.
The appliance must be located in an area away from heat generating appliances, heating ducts
or direct sunlight.
Storage bins / shelves must never be covered with foil, wax paper or a paper towel. These
products impede the flow of cold air and make your appliance less efficient.
Organize and label your food to reduce door openings and long searches. Take as many items as
necessary and close the door as soon as possible.
10. WARRANTY INFORMATION
AVG products are made with the goal of offering exceptional value, and aiming for your complete
satisfaction for each of our products. Your AVG unit is covered by a (2)TWO YEAR limited warranty. For
two (2) year from the original delivery date, our Service Centre will bear the costs of repairing
and/or replacing parts of the unit that has a manufacturing defect or faulty materials, provided
that the product is installed, used and maintained according to the given instructions.
EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover the following:
Product with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered or cannot be readily
determined.
Product that have been removed outside of Canada.
Rust on the interior or exterior of the unit.
Food loss due to a freezer failure.
Products that are used for commercial purposes.
Service Calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in materials or workmanship or for
appliances that are not used in ordinary households or used for purposes other than in
accordance with the provided instructions.
Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing, such as removal of trim, cupboards,
shelves, etc., which are not a part of the appliance.
Service Calls to repair or replace appliance consumables, knobs, handles or other cosmetic
parts.
