ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING:
switched off and unplugged from the power source
before adjusting, adding accessories, or checking
a function on the tool.
ADjUSTING THE BELT TRACKING (FIG 9 )
1. Plug the sander into the power source.
2. Turn switch 'ON' and immediately 'OFF', noting if the belt tends
to slide off the idler drum or drive drum. If it did not tend to slide
off, it is TRACKING properly.
3. If the sanding belt moves toward the disc, turn the tracking
knob (11) up 1/4 turn.
4. If the sanding belt moves away from the disc, turn the tracking
knob down 1/4 turn.
5. Turn switch 'ON and immediately 'OFF' notin
Re-adjust tracking knob if necessary.
POSITIONING BELT BED (FIG 10)
The belt bed lock screw (12) locks the belt bed in a horizontal or
vertical position.
To Adjust the Belt Bed Position
1. unplug the sander from the power source.
2. Loosen the lock screw using the Allen wrench provided.
3. Position belt bed and re-tighten the lock screw.

ON/OFF SWITCH (FIG 11)
1. To turn the sander ON, move the switch (1) to the"ON" position.
2. To turn the sander OFF, move the switch to the "OFF" position.
3. To lock the switch in the OFF position, remove the safety key
(1a) from the switch. Store the key in a safe place.
WARNING:
starting when re-plugging the tool into a power source.
DUST PORT
Your sander has a 2-1/4" dust port (13-FIG1) located on the left side of the sander. The port can be connected to
a dust collection system.
BEVEL SANDING (FIG 12)
The table can be tilted from 0 to 45 for bevel sanding.
To set table at bevel position
1. Loosen the table lock knob and tilt the table to the desired angle.
2. Retighten the table lock knob.
