D1.ENTRETIEN
Malgré la robustesse du SMARTY TX 220 Alu, le maintien en bon état du
générateur exige un minimum d'entretien.
La fréquence des opérations d'entretien dépend des conditions d'emploi
(local plus ou moins poussiéreux, utilisation plus ou moins intensive, etc.).
En moyenne, les opérations ci-dessous peuvent être effectuées une ou deux
fois par an.
Procéder à un dépoussiérage de l'appareil, si possible avec un aspirateur ou
par soufflage à l'air comprimé sec (après purge des tuyaux et du réservoir).
Examiner les différentes connexions. S'assurer qu'elles soient bien serrées à
fond. Surveiller en particulier l'état des bornes secondaires sur lesquelles se
branchent les câbles de soudage. Il est essentiel que ces bornes soient
correctement serrées pour garantir un bon contact électrique et éviter un
échauffement des connexions.
A chaque mise en route ou en cas de panne, vérifier d'abord :
+ le raccordement réseau
+ le raccordement gaz
+ la présence de la pince de masse sur la pièce à souder
+ l'état de la torche et son équipement.
Les ventilateurs arrêtés ne sont pas forcément défectueux
puisque thermodébrayables.
D2.PROTECTIONS INTERNES DE LA
MACHINE
PROTECTION EN CAS DE SURCHAUFFE
Le voyant jaune de protection s'allume, et la machine s'arrête, si
celle-ci a été en surchauffe.
La machine peut surchauffer si elle a fonctionné pendant
longtemps avec un courant supérieur
à 100 % du facteur de marche ou quand la circulation de l'air de
refroidissement est empêchée.
PROTECTION CONTRE LES SURTENSIONS DANS
L'ALIMENTATION PRINCIPALE
Si les surtensions dans l'alimentation principale sont importantes
au point
d'endommager la machine, l'alimentation de la machine est
immédiatement coupée.
Si les surtensions sont de courtes durées, elles se manifesteront
sous forme de brèves
coupures de courant. Le voyant situé sur le panneau indiquant
une sur ou sous-tension
s'allumera lors d'une longue période de surtension.

D1. SERVICING
In spite of the robustness of SMARTY TX 220 Alu, a minimum of
maintenance is required to keep the power source in good condition.
The frequency of maintenance operations depends on the operating
conditions (the amount of dust on the working premises, intensity of use,
etc.).
Generally, the operations below can be carried out once or twice per year.
Clean the dust from the equipment if possible using a vacuum cleaner or
blowing out with compressed air (after draining the hoses and tank).
Examine all the connections. Make sure that they are properly tightened. Pay
special attention to the condition of the secondary terminals to which the
welding cables are connected. These terminals must be properly tightened to
guarantee correct electrical contact and avoid overheating of the
connections.
On each start-up or in cases of failure, first check:
+
the mains connection
+
the gas connection
+
the presence of a ground clip on the work piece
+
the condition of the torch and its accessories.
If fans are stopped it does not necessarily mean they
are faulty as they are thermo switched.
D2.INTERNAL MACHINE SAFETY
OVERHEATING PREVENTION
If the machine overheats the yellow warning light lights and
the machine stops.
The machine may overheat if it has been operating for a long
time with a duty cycle over 100 % or if the air circulation is
obstructed.
MAIN SUPPLY OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION
If overvoltages in the main supply are high enough to
damage the machine, power to the machine is immediately
cut off.
If the overvoltages are of a short duration they will manifest
themselves in the form of brief power cuts. The over and
undervoltage light on the panel lights in the event of a long
period of overvoltage.
