Rectifying malfunctions
Fault
Unable to
activate the
pressing tool out
of idle state and

Cause
Rechargeable battery
is defective.
The rechargeable
battery has not been
inserted properly.

Incorrect or defective
rechargeable battery
inserted.
Pressing tool is
outside of the

Action
▶ Replace the rechargeable battery with a
Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee 12 V.
▶ Have the defective rechargeable battery tested
by an authorised repair shop.
▶ Insert rechargeable battery.
▶ Have the pressing tool inspected by an
authorised repair shop.
▶ Charge the rechargeable battery or replace it
with a Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee 12 V.
▶ Insert the retaining pin.
▶ Insert the retaining pin.
▶ Check the pressing operation and repeat if
necessary.
▶ Replace the rechargeable battery with a
Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee 12 V.
▶ Observe operating temperature of the
rechargeable battery.
▶ Press the start button. If pressing the start
button is not successful, the pressing tool is
defective. Have the pressing tool inspected by
an authorised repair shop.
▶ Check the pressing operation and repeat if
necessary.
▶ Release start button.
▶ Replace the rechargeable battery with a
Geberit lithium-ion battery of type
Milwaukee 12 V and have it inspected by an
authorised repair shop.
▶ Press and hold release button: roller drive
moves to its starting position.
▶ Check the pressfitting for tightness and repeat
the pressing operation if necessary.
▶ Have the pressing tool inspected by an
authorised repair shop.
