Adjust the height of the handles
Adjust the height of the handles by pressing the adjustment knob and sliding
the tube up or down. The height will adjust one hole at a time. Make sure
that both handles are adjusted to the same height.
Ideal handle height
A series of holes are placed every 2.5 along the
handle tube. They allow the handle height to be
adjusted to suit the user.
The ideal handle height is maintained when the
top of the handle is aligned with the user's
wrist.
Attach the satchel
Attach the side loops of the bag to the rollator handles.
Check braking
Check that the brake cables are running on the outside
of the frame and adjust the cable guides to hold the
cables neatly against the frame.
Make sure the brakes are working properly before
using the rollator.
USE
Use of the walker
When using the rollator to move around, it is recommended to place both
hands firmly on the handles, with fingers wrapped around the brake levers so
that the walker can stop immediately in an emergency.
The ideal walking technique is to push the walker forward at a comfortable
arm's length.
