6.3.2 Adjusting the DMX start address

To be able to operate the spotlight with a light con-
troller, adjust the DMX start address for the first
DMX channel. If e. g. address 5 on the DMX con-
troller is provided for controlling the red LEDs,
adjust the start address 5 on the spotlight. The
other functions of the spotlight are then automati-
cally assigned to the following addresses (in this
example 6 to 8). The address 9 could be used in
this example as the next possible start address for
the following DMX-controlled unit.
1) Press the button MODE (6) so many times until
the display (7) shows "d". The d stands for DMX.
2) Adjust the desired DMX start address (1 to 509)
with the buttons UP and DOWN (8).

6.4 Control with the LED-4C

The unit LED-4C from "img Stage Line" is an easy-
to-operate control panel for this spotlight. It has
4 channels so that all DMX spotlights connected to
it can only be controlled in sync.
Adjust the start addresses of the spotlights to 1
or a multiple of 4 + 1 (5, 9, 13, ... max. 61),
chapter 6.3.2. Please refer to the instructions
for the LED-4C for detailed information about the
operation.

6.5 Key lock

As a protection against readjusting a key lock can
be activated. Then adjustments cannot be changed
any more if operating buttons are shortly pressed.
1) To switch on the lock, keep button MODE (6)
pressed for 3 seconds until the display alter-
nately shows "LOC" and the operating mode.
2) To deactivate the lock, keep the button pressed
again for 3 seconds.

6.6 Display indications

The display shows the operating mode for approx.
30 seconds and will then be extinguished. Once an
operating button (6 or 8) is pressed, it is switched
on again for further 30 seconds. The indications on
the display have the following meaning:
Indication Mode / Function
C
operation without controller,
SLA
slave mode,
d
DMX mode,
LOC
key lock is switched on,

7 Cleaning the Unit

The plastic pane in front of the LEDs should be
cleaned at regular intervals from the outside,
depending on impurities caused by dust, smoke or
other particles. Only this will ensure that the light is
radiated at maximum brightness. For cleaning, dis-
connect the mains plug from the socket. Only
use a soft, clean cloth and a mild detergent. Then
wipe the plastic pane dry.
For cleaning the other parts of the housing, only
use a soft, clean cloth. Never use any fluid; it may
leak into the unit and cause damage.
