- This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste
(2012/19/EU) (Fig. 21).
- Follow your country's rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Correct
disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Replacement
Glass plate (filter)
The glass plate (filter) protects against exposure to undesired light.
Warning: Never use the device when the glass plate (filter) is damaged, broken or missing. Contact
the Philips Consumer Care Center for information.
Lamp
The effectiveness of the lamp does not diminish in the course of time.
Note: Do not attempt to replace the lamp if the lamp stops working. Contact the Philips Consumer
Care Center in your country for information.
Note: If the lamp stops working during the warranty period, do not attempt to replace it yourself, but
contact the Consumer Care Center.

Problem
The device does not switch
on.
Possible cause
The plug is not inserted into the
wall socket properly.
The treatment time is not set.
There is a power failure.
The lamp is defective.
The mains cord is damaged.
Solution
Insert the plug in the wall socket
properly.
Select a treatment time by turning
the timer knob to the preferred
treatment time.
Connect another device to check if
the power supply works.
Contact the Philips Consumer Care
Center.
If the mains cord is damaged, you
must have it replaced by Philips, a
service center authorized by Philips
or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
