Plug in the Garden
• Plug cord at the back of the reservoir.
• Plug adapter into
electrical outlet (if
Lights flashes blue it's
because the reservoir is
empty).
Light Timer
Your Véritable® Garden has a built-in Light timer
that automatically provide plants with
the optimal amount of "day" (16 hrs)
and "night" (8 hrs). This day/night cycle
is essential for healthy plants.
Lights will turn on every day at the time you
plugged in your Véritable® Garden.
e.g, If you plug it in at 7:00am, lights will turn
off at 11:00pm.
If your plants receive any room light during the
day (natural or artificial), we recommend that you
set your Véritable® Garden lights to be on during
the day.
To reset the light timer, unplug the adapter for at
least 30 seconds.
Connect the Lighting Poles
- Firmly and quickly insert the two Lighting Poles
into the Garden. Push down to the bottom to
connect (you should feel a slight «click»).
- The Véritable Garden turns on immediatly and
the LEDs slowly blink blue.
Continuous blue + white = normal operating
Slow blinking blue + low white = low level
alarm

Fill the water Reservoir
Use room temperature tap water or rain water. Do
not use softened or demineralised water.
Use a small watering can or a carafe with a spout.
• Fill the water reservoir at
the center hole.
• Pour until the float rises
and fully closes the gap
(until water no longer
flows).
Note: the 4 angles of the
square hole remain slightly
open to allow the last drops
to be evacuated.
It takes 2L (68 oz) to fill up
the Reservoir.
When you start to fill the
reservoir, the Véritable
Garden stops blinking
and turns blue + white continuous (= normal
operating).
Insert Lingots®
• Open the black side of
the Lingot box and gently
remove the Lingot.
• Insert the Lingot and push
it to the bottom of the
Basket.
Note: A Lingot® takes about 3 hours to rehydrate.
If after 3 hours the surface of the Lingot® is not
wet, push it deeper to the bottom.
The Lingot's placement
For best results, place plants of similar size and
speed growth together. Move the Baskets during
growing phase if needed.
E.g.1, Basil / Dill / Thyme / Parsley.
E.g.2, Tomato/ Basil / Chives / Parsley.

Use the label on the Lingot's box
to identify your plants.
When to add water?
The LED Lights will blink blue as a signal when it
is time to add water.
• Wait for the alarm to blink before filling-up the
Reservoir.
Note: The Float guides you on the maximum
amount of water to fill. It does NOT indicate the
low water level.
• Do not attempt to fill the Reservoir beyond the
maximum level. Too much water can harm your
plants or cause mold growth.
• Depending on the type of plant, the growing
phase and your climate, you will need to add
water every 2 to 4 weeks.
• It is recommended to fill the Reservoir as soon
as the light signal appears, or within 2 days.
When you begin the germination process,
rehydrating the 4 Lingots will use a lot of water.
Fill up again with water 24hours after inserting
new Lingots in order to get the full reservoir
capacity.
Adjust the lamp height
Both light poles are adjustable in height.
• Start with the lower
level and, as plants
grow, raise each lamp
by pulling at the
curved angle of the
Lighting Pole.
• Adjust the lamp and
harvest regularly
before leaves touch
the lights (Plants
should be 1-2 inch/2-5cm below lights).
Don't raise the lamp too soon. Instead of letting
your plants grow straight up, prune them often
to keep the lights down low. (see "GROWING
AND HARVESTING TIPS").
Disconnect the Lighting Poles
- Raise a Lighting Pole to the
top, then unfasten it while
holding the Garden with
one hand.
- To reconnect: remember
to push it all the way to
the bottom.
