A plastic part (O-ring) is fitted around
the centring collar of mounting flange
14. If the O-ring is missing or dam-
aged, the mounting flange 14 must be
replaced before resuming operation.
Place the diamond cup wheel 15 on the mounting flange 14.
Pay attention that the direction-of-rotation arrow on the dia-
mond cup wheel agrees with the direction-of-rotation arrow
on the guard and extraction hood 3.
Press the spindle lock button 9 to lock the grinding spindle.
Screw on the clamping nut 16 and tighten it with the two-pin
spanner 18.
Pay attention that the collar of the clamping nut 16 faces away
from the machine, as shown in the figure.
 After mounting the diamond cup wheel and before
switching on, check that the diamond cup wheel
is correctly mounted and that it can turn freely.
Make sure that the diamond cup wheel does not graze
against the guard and extraction hood or other parts.
Changing a Diamond Cup Wheel
When transporting the machine, the diamond cup wheel 15
should be removed to avoid damage to it.
 Do not touch diamond cup wheels before they have
cooled. Diamond cup wheels become very hot while work-
ing.
Press the spindle lock button 9 to lock the grinding spindle.
 Actuate the spindle lock button only when the grinder
spindle is at a standstill. Otherwise, the machine may be-
come damaged.
Loosen the clamping nut 16 with the two-pin spanner 18 and
unscrew the clamping nut. Remove the diamond cup wheel 15.
Quick-clamping Nut
For convenient changing of grinding tools without the use of
additional tools, you can use the quick-clamping nut 17 in-
stead of the clamping nut 16.
 Use only a flawless, undamaged quick-clamping nut 17.
 When screwing on, pay attention that the side of the
quick-clamping nut 17 with printing does not face the
diamond cutting disc; the arrow must point to the index
mark 19.

Dust Extraction

 Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
The vacuum cleaner must be approved for the extraction of
masonry dust. Bosch provides suitable vacuum cleaners.
Insert a vacuum hose 10 (accessory) into the vacuum connec-
tion 8. Connect the vacuum hose 10 to a vacuum cleaner (ac-
cessory). An overview for connecting to a vacuum cleaner can
be found at the end of these instructions.
Notes for the Use of Concrete Grinders
Please observe the following notes in order to reduce the dust
emissions occurring while working.
