Mounting
Caution: The tamper protection for the removal, the opening of the housing and
the cutting of the antennas is inactive at the time of installation of the siren. It
becomes active after the first arming command (partial or total) is received and if the
tamper actuator is engaged for more than 5 secs. It is strongly advised to wait until
the siren is fixed to the wall before sending any arming commands.
Close the battery compartment flap and clip it shut.
1
Connect the strobe cables
Place the lid on the base of the siren. Turn it over: if the tamper siren sounds,
2
press the OFF key of your remote control or your keypad. Screw the base of the siren
to the lid with its 3 screws.
Use the cardboard drilling template supplied with the siren to mark the 2 siren
3
fixing points and the 2 fixing points for the anti-tamper disc on the wall.
Drill the 4 holes previously marked.
4
Use the 2 supplied wall plugs for fixing the siren (or others better suited if necessary).
5
Use the 2 supplied wall plugs for fixing the wall anti-tamper disc and fix it using
6
the 2 countersunk screws supplied (or others better suited if necessary).
Present the siren to its mounting location with its antennas downwards while
7
assuring that the anti-tamper actuator locates itself correctly inside the anti-tamper
wall disc.
Fix the siren using the 2 round headed screws supplied (or others better suited if
8
necessary).
Send an ON command (Partial, Total, Group 1 or Group 2): the siren gives out
9
one audible signal. Send an OFF command. The tamper protection is now active: if
you remove the siren from the wall, the siren will sound.
Your siren is now installed. Make a real test by triggering your siren in the normal way.
NB: on intrusion, the alarm siren activates 10 sec after the triggering of the integra-
ted siren in the control panel.
BATTERY STATUS AND REPLACEMENT SECTION
The alarm siren checks the state of its batteries permanently. It signals when you must
change them with a harsh audible message

time while adhering to the following procedure:
Select a remote control and a crosshead screwdriver and place yourself at a
1
height to enable you to open the siren.
Remove the two screws that fix the siren to the wall.
2
Remove the siren while simultaneously pressing the
3
control or keypad to limit the length of sounding owing to the triggering of the anti-
tamper switch, open the siren according to the procedure described in
Remove all the batteries and wait 5 min before connecting the new batteries
4
according to the procedure described in
Fix the siren while following the procedure described in
5

6
