2 INSTALLATION OF THE SAFETY FENCE

Once you have decided on the distance you wish
to install the safety fence from the swimming pool,
you can now start assembly.
1. PLACING THE SUPPORT POSTS OF
THE SAFETY FENCE
Space out all the posts to be installed in a line and
parallel to the swimming pool, at a distance of 1
metre for example.

2. DRILLING THE FASTENING SURFACE

2.1. Once the posts have been spaced out around
the pool, take one of the posts as a reference, such
as the one located on one of the corners (Code
32665), which is provided with fastening drill holes
on the side sections at 90º instead of 180º (Code
32664).
2.2. Before drilling the fastening surface make
sure that the base plate of the post is perfectly
parallel to the pool in order to avoid possible
defects when assembling the glass panels (as
long as you wish to install the safety fence para-
llel to the pool).
2.3. Place the lower section, as a template, to
make sure the distance between centres of the
posts is correct.
2.4. Mark the drill holes to be made on the faste-
ning surface using the base plate of the post to be
installed, as a template.
2.5. Drill the four previously marked holes to a mini-
mum depth of 8 centimetres using a Ø10 bit and a
standard drill.
2.6. Insert the fastening plugs in the drill holes,
making sure that they are level with the fastening
surface. This will ensure that the plug will work
properly and will prevent defects when later
assembling the glass panels.
2.7. Place the safety fence post and screw the
four DIN-571 Ø8x70 screws supplied with each
post using a flat spanner 12-13 and place a DIN-
125 Ø8 washer between them and the base
plate.
5
2.8. Place the lower trim through the 63 tube until
it reaches the fastening surface.
2.9. Fasten the lower section to both posts using
the DIN-84 M4x20.

3. FASTENING THE SIDE SECTIONS

Once the post has been anchored, place the side
section Code 32666 to the post with the M4 drill
holes facing the holes in the side section. Fasten
the section with the three DIN-84 M4x20 supplied
with each side section using a flat-end screwdriver.
Repeat this process on the opposite side of the
fastened section, as this will be used to fasten the
adjacent panel.

4. FASTENING THE FOLLOWING POSTS

4.1.To continue installing the following posts, make
sure that they are positioned at a distance betwe-
en each other of 1 metre between the centres of
the posts. To ensure that this distance is respec-
ted, repeat the process described in points 2.3 and
2.4. Before drilling, as described in point 2.5, place
and screw the lower section to the two posts with
the DIN-84 M4x20 screws. In this way, you can
make sure that the posts are properly centred so
that the glass panels can be fitted. You can then
continue with steps 2.5, 2.6 and 2.7 described
above.

5. PLACING THE PANELS

Once at least two posts are fastened with their side
sections, you can start assembling the panels.
5.1. First, align the panel with the side sections on
each post. This operation should be performed by
two people owing to the weight of the panel and
also to make assembly easier.
5.2. Once the panel has been aligned with the
side sections, let the panel slide inside the sec-
tions until it reaches the inside of the lower sec-
tion which has been fastened, keeping the panel
as horizontal as possible so that it does not rub
against the side sections and making alignment
easier.
