1.7 Switching off for lengthy
periods
If the boiler is not going to be used for a long
period of time:
− Turn the main dial (A) on the control panel to
the " " position

− Turn the system's main switch to "OFF" and
check that the green light signal (C) switch-
es off
− Shut-off the gas valve and water taps.

Empty the system if there is a risk of freez-
ing.
The Technical Assistance Centre is at your dis-
posal if you have any problems carrying out
this procedure.

1.8 Maintenance
The maintenance of the boiler should be per-
formed at least once a year by the Technical
Assistance Centre or by qualified personnel.
For peace of mind and safety, we suggest you
plan ahead.
1.9 Cleaning
The only cleaning operations that need to be
performed by the user are those involving the
external panels, which should be cleaned using
just a cloth dampened with soap and water.
In the case of stubborn stains dampen the cloth
with a mixture of 50% water and methylated
spirit or with specific products.
After cleaning, dry the boiler carefully.

Do not use sponges soaked with abrasive
or powdered detergents.

It is forbidden to carry out any cleaning
operations before disconnecting the boiler
from the electricity supply; to do this, turn
the main system switch to "OFF".
