Warning: For people with circulatory disorders, prolonged use of
gasoline-powered devices may cause damage to blood vessels and
nerves in fingers, hands, and joints due to vibration. Prolonged use in
cold weather can also cause damage to blood vessels in healthy persons.
Stop using the device and seek medical attention immediately if you
experience any of the following symptoms: numbness, pain, weakness,
changes in skin color or texture, or numbness in fingers, hands, or joints.
An anti-vibration system does not mean that these symptoms will not
occur. Persons who use gasoline-powered equipment frequently or for
professional reasons should always keep an eye on their health and the
condition of the equipment.
• Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection when using and
servicing the unit. Stones or debris could be thrown into your eyes or
face, causing serious injury and/or blindness.
• Always wear safety shoes and gloves. Do not operate the unit
barefoot or without sandals.
• Always wear a dust mask and face shield when working in dusty
environments.
• Tie your hair together along your shoulders. Secure or remove any
jewellery, loose clothing or items of clothing with loose straps,
ribbons, fringes, etc., as they may get caught in the moving parts of
the appliance.
• Never use the vacuum pool cleaner if you feel tired or ill, or if you are
under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
• Keep children, animals and other bystanders at least 15 metres away
from your working area when starting or using the appliance. Never
point the blower nozzle at other people or animals.
• The minimum age for using the blower is 16 years. The only
exception is when the appliance is used under the supervision of an
experienced instructor to acquire the necessary knowledge. Country-
specific laws may prescribe a higher minimum age.

Caution when handling fuel
• Eliminate all sources of sparks or flames (including smoking or work
that may cause sparks) in areas where fuel is mixed, poured or
stored.
• Mix and pour fuel in an outdoor area; store fuel in a cool, dry, well-
ventilated place. Use an approved, marked container for all fuel
purposes.
• Do not smoke when handling fuel or operating the unit.
• Ensure that the unit is properly installed and in good operating
condition.
• Do not fill the fuel tank when the engine is hot or running.
• Avoid spilling fuel or oil. Wipe up spilled fuel before starting the
engine.
• Before starting the engine, move at least 3 meters away from the
fuel and refueling point.
• Always store your petrol in a container approved for flammable
liquids.
Safe operation of the unit
Important: Switch off the engine before opening the suction port
cover. To avoid injury, the motor must be switched off and the blades of
the blower fan must stop rotating.
• This leaf blower/vacuum cleaner is only suitable for blowing and
vacuuming leaves and other debris on the floor. Warning: Slide unit
cannot be used to vacuum leaves with branches or twigs. Doing so
may cause this machine to be blocked. Should a blockage occur,
lightly tap the machine housing to release any obstruction. Never
disassemble the suction pipe. If this does not work, contact your
dealer.
• Inspect the machine for worn, loose, missing or damaged parts
before each operation. Only operate the vacuum pool cleaner when
it is in perfect condition.
