resistance to the electrical system causing the smart clamp to activate. In some instances, electrical
systems have capacitors that are charged and discharged when the vehicle's battery is low and when
the smart clamps sense 12 volts they will not turn on. In these cases, there is a boost button on the back
side of the smart clamps. There is a hole on the vented side of the smart clamps that has a ring around
it. Using a paper clip or micro screwdriver you can press the boost button as shown in the picture
which will energize the cables.
