5. When the vehicle is started, remove the jumper cable from the DEM200 and disconnect
RED and BLACK clamps to vehicle battery.
6. Leave the vehicle's engine running.
o Charging Cell Phone or Tablet Instruction (b. on diagram):
1. Plug the switch cable to USB 5V/2.1A output port.
2. Select appropriate connector for your cell phone or tablet and connect it to any of them.
The DEM200 can identify and charge the electronic automatically. The indicators will be ON
when the device is charging.
o LED flash light (c. on diagram):
1. Press the switch 3 seconds to turn on/off the LED flash light.
2. There are 3 modes of LED light: Normal light, Strobe, SOS, which can be shift in turns by
pressing the switch.
3. Press the switch 3 seconds to turn off the LED flash light no matter you are in any mode.

Q. How can I start a vehicle with a completely dead or no battery?
A. Just hook the clamps directly to the terminals as you normally would, positive (+) to positive (+) and
negative (-) to negative (-). At this point the LED light on the clamps should turn green, if not turn on
the headlights or something else to add more resistance to the electrical system and this should activate
the clamps.
Q. Why does the LED indicator on the smart clamp occasionally not turn green even when they
are connected correctly?
