SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using your appliance, please read these safety precautions carefully and keep them
for future reference. If you give this appliance to others, please also give them these safety
precautions.
• Use this appliance as described in this manual. The manufacturer will not be held responsible
for any improper handling or use other than that described in these instructions.
• This appliance is intended for indoor domestic use only.
• Do not use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer!
• They can damage the device and/or cause injury.
• Do not use the appliance near sources of flames or sparks, or in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases and dust.
• Keep the appliance dry. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid and do not expose it
to dripping water or splashing.
• Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight and high temperatures.
• If the cables are damaged, do not use the appliance and return them to the manufacturer
or service centre for repair or replacement.
• Do not modify or damage the cable and its plug. If the cable and/or plug do not match your
electrical installation, call a qualified technician to modify your electrical installation.
• Do not connect the black and red clamps together, as this may cause an accident such as
an explosion and cause damage.
• Before connecting, check:
That the appliance and its components are not damaged. If they are, do not use the
appliance and return it to your dealer for inspection and repair.
That the voltage indicated on the nameplate of the appliance corresponds to that of your
electrical installation.
• Do not dismantle the appliance yourself. All dismantling, repair and checking must be
carried out exclusively by a qualified person.
• Check the amount of oil sucked out and then compare it to the capacity of the crankcase to
ensure that the oil has been fully sucked out before refilling. This prevents overfilling.
CAUTION
• After changing the oil, use the quality and quantity of oil recommended by the manufacturer.
The replacement of the oil filter is highly recommended.
• Always wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing when changing the oil.
• Do not dispose of oil in the environment, but take it to a collection point.
• Never attempt to force the suction hose into the opening of the gauge well.
• Do not use the drainer to pump water, petrol or other flammable liquids.
• Do not use the drainer near an open flame.
• Do not smoke while using the drainer or in the vicinity of the used oil.
• Do not clean with thinners or other solvents.
• Do not use the drainer continuously for more than 20 minutes to avoid overheating.
