7.3 Operation
Place the motor unit on the previously filled blender jar and plug the power cord
into a properly installed socket.
To start the appliance, press the motor unit down slightly and press one of the
speed setting buttons. The appliance begins to run. The appliance stops working
if you release your finger from the switch or the motor unit does not make con-
tact with the safety switch by pressing. The prescribed operating time (short time
operation) should be observed. If you intend to blend in pulse mode, press one
of the buttons repeatedly. This allows you to vary even the pulsing interval. Then
disconnect the power cord from the socket and remove the motor unit from the
blender jar.
Finally, open the lid and remove the food item from the appliance.
Note: The appliance is designed only for brief periods of operation. You have to
allow it to cool down sufficiently after 30 seconds of continuous operation, before
you use it again!
7.4 Mounting the blade unit
There are 2 markings on the blade unit. When the two lines are not properly
aligned, it means that the upper and lower knife unit are not mounted correctly.
If the blade unit is not mounted properly before use, it can come loose and
touch the casing or the lid and possibly injure the user, anyone close by or pets
and damage objects. Please make sure that the blade unit is always mounted
correctly.
