Fitting Sanding Pads and Sanding Sheets
1. Fit the sanding pad by following the steps under chapter 6.1 Fitting an Accessory.
2. Select the required sanding sheet for your intended task.
Sanding sheets are available in a variety of different grades from coarse to fine. Use a coarse grit to sand
down rough finishes, a medium grit to smooth the work, and a fine grit to finish off. Always use good
quality sanding sheets. It is advisable to do a trial run on a scrap piece of material. Choose a finer grit if
there are still marks after sanding.
3. Mount the sanding sheet onto the sanding pad. Carefully line up one corner of the sheet with one corner of
the pad. Then, gradually push the rest of the sheet onto the pad, checking the alignment as you do so, until
the sheet is fitted correctly.

Switching On and Off

1. Hold the de vice firmly by the handle, with the thumb over the on?off switch.
