2. Press lever "A" and at the same time fully extend the ISOFIX connector. Repeat this
for both car seat connectors (2C).
3. Line up the Smart Fix connectors with the ISOFIX guides. Attach the two Smart Fix
connectors to the two anchorages points on the vehicle seat respectively. You will
hear two sounds of "clicks". And check the ISOFIX indicator on each side turns to
green (2D).
4. Push the car seat as far back as possible (2E). Make sure the back of child seat is
against the backrest of vehicle seat firmly (2F).
5. Follow the steps in section "4. Securing your child" to finish the installation.
Unfastening your child seat
To unfastening your child seat,please pull the Smart fix release buttons on both sides.
3. INSTALLATION WITH 3-POINT SAFETY BELT
1. Please make sure that the both smart fix connectors are stowed in its original position
(the most inside position). If not, please pull&hold the smart fix adjustment button,
meantime push back the smart fix arms back into the seat base. Repeat the above,
to pull back the arm in the other side (3A).
2. Place the child seat on the vehicle seat, make sure the backrest of child seat is flush
with 2. Place the child seat on the vehicle seat, make sure the backrest of child seat
is flush with backrest of the vehicle seat. Tips: if the headrest of the vehicle seat gets
in the way, please remove it or turn it in other way (3B).
3. Follow the steps in section "4. Securing your child" to finish the installation.
4. SECURING YOUR CHILD
Before securing your child in the child seat, please make sure the headrest is adjusted
to the correct position (see section 1).
Check your vehicle's manual to see if your vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX lower
anchorages; choose one method of installation in the vehicle, either section 2 or 3 was
followed correctly.
1. Have your child sit down in the child seat. Pull out the safety belt and guide it to in
front of your child to the seat buckle. Buckle it up with an audible "click" (4A).
2. Guide the lap belt and one end of diagonal belt to the belt guides under the both
armrests (4B).
3. Insert the diagonal portion of the chest belt into the guide under the headrest (4C1,
4C2).
4. Remove all the slackness of safety belts to the retractor (4D). Pull the diagonal part of
the car belt upwards, so that the entire belt is taut and snug against the child's chest
and legs, without tightening the belt excessively (fig.4E).
5. To remove the child from the car seat, simply unclasp the seat belt buckle,
accompanying the belt as it rolls up.
Checklist before you go:
• The diagonal belt must run over in the middle of your child's shoulder, not in his or
her neck (4E).
• The chest belt must pass through the guide placed under the headrest (4E1).
