Indication:
DD Solid Connect® Implant Components are used to support
prosthetic restorations in combination with endosseous dental
implants in the upper and /or lower jaw.
Material:
• DD Ti-Base 2CUT & DD Implant Screw: Ti6AI4V (medical grade 5)
ASTM 136 ELI
• The black lab screw is made of stainless steel (1.4305) and the
blue lab screw is made of titanium (Ti6AI4V).
General product description:
The DD Ti-Base 2CUT is used to fabricate individual abutments
on implants. The DD titanium bonding bases act as an interface
between the implant and zirconium abutment or zirconium crown.
They have an implant interface manufactured with high precision,
a circumferential platform that facilitates the design of the emer-
gence profile, and a cylinder, which can be shortened, for bonding
prosthetic mesostructures. DD Solid Connect® Implant Compo-
nents are compatible with various implant systems.
Contraindication:
• Intolerance to the constituents
• Implant angulations > 18°
• Inadequate oral hygiene
• Lack of space
Processing in laboratory and practice:
DD Solid Connect® Implant Components may only be used by
dental professionals who have sufficient experience in the field of
dental technology, implantology and dental surgery.
• Laboratory:
In the laboratory, the technician selects the DD Ti-Base 2CUT
that corresponds to the implant to be restored (see table).
DD Ti-Base 2CUT is supplied with a chimney height of 6 mm.
The chimney height can be shortened at predefined grooves
to a height of 5 mm or 4 mm by using a 0.3 mm thick diamond
cutting disc. The geometry of the titanium bonding base must
not be processed in any way except for shortening the chimney
height and removing the burr from the edges. During subsequent
fabrication of a prosthetic mesostructure, the shape of the cera-
mic abutments can be adapted to suit the anatomical conditions.
Diamond tools with water cooling and low contact pressure should
be used for processing the ceramic abutments. Do not reduce the
wall thickness to less than the minimum of 0.5 mm. Avoid sharp
edges and ridges. It is possible to veneer the ceramic abutment.
Veneering is carried out using suitable veneering materials and
following the manufacturer's instructions. Veneering must always
be completed before bonding. The bonding surfaces of the tita-
nium bonding base must be treated with Al2O3 abrasives 110
μm and max. 2 bar before bonding. The surfaces are bonded with
a suitable luting material (e.g. Multilink® Hybrid Abutment) in
accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. After curing, all
adhesive residues on basal surfaces and in the screw channel
must be carefully removed.
Caution: On the model, only use the Lab Screw (max. torque:
10 Ncm).

• Practice:
The individual abutment is placed in the patient's mouth using
the silver Implant Screw.
Please note: The Implant Screw must be tightened with the tor-
que specific to the system.
