Controls and indications

~ Power indicator
• Lights in white when the power is turned on.
• Lights in red when the unit is on standby.
Ÿ VOLUME knob
Adjusts the volume level of the output of
the Subwoofer. Rotating the knob clockwise
increases the volume level, and rotating the knob
counterclockwise decreases the volume level.
! LINE IN jack (RCA-type pin-plug)
This jack is used to connect the subwoofer Pre-Out
jack of the amplifier.
⁄ AUTO STANDBY switch
Activates (ON) or deactivates (OFF) the auto
standby function.
• When the auto standby function is activated (ON):
The unit enters standby mode (the power
indicator lights in red), when no audio signal has
been input for about 10 minutes. The unit turns
on automatically when an audio signal comes in.
@ POWER switch
Switches the power ON and OFF.
¤ Power cord connector
Connects to the power cord.

Caution concerning operation
An excessive input level to the Subwoofer may
impair the sound quality or damage the unit.
Careful attention should therefore be paid to the
following precautions.
• Do not increase the output of the amplifier to a high
level while the low-frequency level is enhanced by
the amplifier's tone control or loudness control.
• When operating the amplifier switches, or when
placing the stylus on an analog record, set the
amplifier volume to its minimum level.
