The coefficient τ is proportional to R and C. We observe that it is equal to the
product of RC, it is known as the time constant τ = RC.
Numerically we find that:

If we combine the two curves U
(C = 100 µF, R = 1000 Ω) on the same screen: curve u5(t) and
