NOTE! After installing the new main filter, check that the filter bags are correctly
grounded, see Section '8.3.2 Ground check measurement'.
NOTE! Avoid dust spreading.

To replace the control filter:
1.
Disconnect the exhaust from the unit, see Figure 17, item 1.
2.
Remove the top cover from the unit, see Figure 17, item 2.
3.
Remove the clamping ring securing the hose and filter lid to the inlet, see
Figure 17, item 3.
4.
Put the hose and filter lid aside and remove the control filter by lifting it
straight up, see Figure 17, item 4.
5.
Put the old filter in a plastic bag, or wrap it in plastic foil, see Figure 13.
CAUTION! Risk of equipment damage
It is important that no dust, objects or debris are allowed to fall down into
the inlet of the side channel fan.
6.
Check that the two Ø 6 mm hoses connected to the top and side of the
inlet are free from dust or other deposits The hoses are connected to the
Differential Pressure Switch (DPS), see Figure 16.
7.
Insert the new control filter.
8.
Refit the filter lid and clamping ring.
9.
Refit the top cover and the exhaust duct.
Individual filter bags
Replacing individual filter bags is possible, but we recommend replacing the
whole filter package, including the filter panel and locking rings, as it is quicker
and causes less spreading of dust.
Individual filter bags which have been damaged may be replaced, see Figure
14. Use a robust screwdriver to detach the plastic locking ring.
The coiled spring may be kept for use with the new conductive filter bag, but
a new locking ring is to be used to secure the new conductive filter, see Figure
15.

It is important that no dust, objects or debris are allowed to fall down into the
inlet of the side channel fan.
Bearing replacement intervals
The motor and fan unit has two bearings, one in the upper part of the
motor and one in the lower part of the fan. These are to be replaced after
approximately 20,000 hours of operation. If working temperatures regularly
reaches 40 °C (104 °F), this is to be reduced to 15,000 hours. In any case,
