production and the air and water temperature are not
appropriate for the refrigeration cycle.
▶ Access the "Phot" menu.
▶ Press "ok".
▶ Use the "+" or "-" keys and select "Prio".
▶ Press "ok".
▶ Use the "+" or "-" keys and select "P e" or "P b".
– "P e": priority given to the electric heater as the heat
pump auxiliary system when there is available
photovoltaic energy.
– "P b": priority given to the boiler as the heat pump
auxiliary system even when there is available
photovoltaic energy.
▶ Press "ok".
The priority system is now defined.
Before giving priority to the electric heater,
guarantee that there is sufficient installed
photovoltaic output to supply the electric
heater. Check the rated output of the
auxiliary heater on the appliance
specification plate and consider a value at
least 10% higher (typical tolerance). Pay
attention to the efficiency of the photovoltaic
installation in different conditions and as it
ages with time.
"tMin" - Setting the lower limit of the water temperature in
the cylinder at which the heat pump starts
Fig. 25
This parameter defines the temperature value below which the
appliance starts working normally regardless of the lack of
photovoltaic production. When the water temperature goes
below the "Tmin" value, even when there is no photovoltaic
production the appliance will start operating if there are start-
up conditions, and will continue to operate until it reaches the
temperature set in the memory. With this parameter, the user
is setting the minimum comfort level by defining the minimum
6 720 821 590 (2019/10)
temperature that the water in the cylinder can reach while the
system is waiting for photovoltaic energy production.
This value can be set between 15 and 70°C °C and must always
be lower than or equal to the general temperature selected.
▶ Access the "Phot" menu.
▶ Press "ok".
▶ Use the "+" or "-" keys and select "Tmin".
▶ Press "OK".
▶ Set the value using the "+" and "-" buttons.
▶ Press "OK".
The desired value is now set.
"tMA" - To set the maximum temperature for the water in
the cylinder, up until which the appliance should work
while there is photovoltaic production
Fig. 26
This parameter defines the maximum temperature for the
water in the cylinder up until which the appliance uses
photovoltaic energy. When the "Phot" function is activated, the
appliance replaces the selected temperature which is in the
6720805338-09.1V
memory with this value. In this way, the appliance will start
working whenever the temperature of the water in the cylinder
falls below the commissioning levels and there is photovoltaic
energy production.
The "tMA" parameter can be set between 50 °C and 70 °C. The
higher the value, the greater the economy which can be
achieved through the photovoltaic production system.
Values between 61 °C and 70 °C imply the
activation of an auxiliary system (boiler or
electric heater) instead of the refrigeration
cycle. However, the use of the electric heater
implies that it has been selected as the
priority in the "Prio" submenu and that there
is sufficient installed photovoltaic output.
