CAUTION
Drinking untreated water may expose
you to harmful microorganisms and
increase your risk of gastrointestinal
illness. Improper usage of LifeStraw®
increases your risk of exposure to harmful
microorganisms and increases your risk of
gastrointestinal illness. Reduce your risk
of becoming sick by following these safety
instructions and by educating yourself
on backcountry water safety. Never use
LifeStraw® to filter seawater or chemically
contaminated water, including water from
mining tailing ponds or from near large
agricultural operations. DO NOT DROP
or place pressure on this product in any
manner. The intentional or unintentional
impact of this product on a solid surface
may damage the filtration mechanism
within the LifeStraw® and render it
inefficient and unusable. This product
must not be used by children without the
supervision of an adult.

LifeStraw® filters water quickly
and easily. The product requires
no batteries or replacement
parts, and filters at least 1,000
liters of water over its lifetime.
LifeStraw® can be used to drink
directly from an open body of
water, like a river or lake, or a
container, like a bottle or a glass.
Its durable and slender design
makes it perfect for hiking,
travelling, and camping in areas
where water may be unsafe to
drink due to contamination by
chlorine, bacteria or parasites.
