IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Always observe the following safety instructions when using
electrical appliances.

USING YOUR COFFEE MACHINE

This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Therefore, it
is dangerous to use it in any other way than the purpose for
which it is intended.
Withdraw the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is
not in use.
Wear protection when handling hot surfaces. Always use the
console and handles when handling the machine.
This machine is designed for preparing Ristretto, Espresso,
Espresso lungo, Café crème and Decaffeinated. Take care not
to be scalded by the hot water jet or through improper use of
the machine.
This appliance is not for the use of children.
The appliance may only be used by adults in sound physical and
mental health.
This appliance is to be used exclusively in an enclosed space
which is protected from the effects of the weather.

To protect yourself from fire, electric shock and injury, do not
submerge the cable, plug or machine housing into water or any
other liquid.
Do not use the appliance for a purpose for which it is not
intended.
Do not stand the appliance on an electric or gas stove or in a
hot oven.
The machine switches off 10 minutes after use, although the ra-
dio remains switched on. Press the on/off button to use again.
When the machine is not in use, make sure that the mains plug
is removed from the socket. Before pulling the mains plug out,
make sure that the machine is switched off.
After switching off, the radio frequency last selected is stored
in the memory.
If accessories are used which are not recommended by the ma-
nufacturer, this can result in fire, electric shock or injury.

INSTALLING YOUR COFFEE MACHINE

Please read and note the contents of this instruction manual.
Never set the appliance up in an environment where the
temperature drops to 0 °C or lower (if the water freezes, the
machine may be damaged) or where the temperature rises
to over 40 °C.
