INSTALLATION
1.
Use the drill template to make the four installation holes and the tamper protection hole.
2.
Attach the base of the container to the wall, making sure the centre raw plug is aligned with the tamper, and that it comes
far enough out of the wall to allow the tamper to close when the siren cover is closed.
The siren is fitted with a remote control repeat function, which relays the signal from the remote control to the base unit.
To activate this function, remove the jumper from the XR300 circuit, located close to the fuse. This can only be done with the
XR300 siren.
Once the 12V battery is correctly inserted, the light will illuminate, the siren will sound momentarily and the signals are
sent to the base unit the reactivation signal first, followed by the power status signal.
Insert the 13.5V power adapter set to the indicated polarity, along with a 230V power supply isolation switch.
Never use the siren on mains power alone without a battery..
Before replacing the XR300 siren cover, you must enter the system code (see congifuration), then ensure the metal
guard is tightened and the cover correctly replaced.
When closing the outer cover, the light will flash and the siren will sound instantaneously to indicate that the tamper
protection has been closed.
