Possible Cause
The insert is the type without
a liquid passage
The Water function is not
active
The insert is clogged
The handpiece is clogged
The insert is not correctly
tightened on the handpiece
Insert broken, worn or
deformed
Poor maintenance of the
insert
Solution
Use an insert type with a
liquid passage
Activate the Water function
Unscrew the insert from the
handpiece and release the
water passage of the insert
by blowing compressed air
through it.
If the problem persists,
replace the insert with a new
one
Contact an Authorised Mec-
tron Service Centre
Unscrew the insert and screw
it back in correctly using the
Mectron torque wrench (See
Chapter 4.4 on page 14
Replace the insert with a
new one
Clean the insert properly (see
Chapter 6 on page 19)
