BUFFER TANK INSTALLATION

1. Preparations
The buffer tank may be installed only in rooms protected from frost. Furthermore, the buffer tank
requires a flat, hard and resilient surfaces. The insertion holes and the total weight when filled must
be observed. During installation, assembly and operation of a buffer tank or domestic hot water
storage tank possible water leakage must be considered; a device to capture leaking water with
a corresponding drain must be provided on site, e.g. a drain pan with a pump and drain, to avoid
secondary damage.
2. Delivery
Please ensure that the transport route is free of obstacles and tripping hazards. The delivery heights
and widths for the transport route for the buffer tank can be found in the technical data. Please
note also the tilting moment of the buffer tank.
3. Distance to Installations and Walls
The recommended minimum distances are as follows:

Caution! Wall-hung tank deviation
When designing the wall fastening/bracket for a wall-hung buffer tank the total weight when filled
must always be taken into account. This must be reviewed and calculated by a specialist company
in advance. Standing below the buffer tank is prohibited (if necessary install suitable signage). The
wall mount/holder must be regularly tested (min. once per year) by an appropriate specialist com-
pany for secure mounting and documented.
