Tile-In Installation
NOTE: Use the template supplied with the bathroom sink.
NOTE: Tile backer board installed over 3/4" (19 mm) exterior grade plywood is the
recommended underlayment for installing this bathroom sink. Tile should be bonded
to the backer board with dry set or latex Portland mortar.
IMPORTANT! Do not use: flakeboard, interior grade plywood, or gypsum
wallboard.
Install the water supplies and drain piping according to the roughing-in
information.
Verify cabinet clearance beneath the countertop for the sink basin, faucet valving,
and drain piping.
Cut out the template along the inside of the cutting line.
Position the template on the countertop. Ensure clearance between the sink, faucet,
and backsplash.
Trace the cutout on the countertop with a pencil.
Mark the faucet hole centerline on the countertop.
Cut out the countertop opening by carefully following the traced pencil line.

Cut along the inside line.
