CLEAR VIEW COVER STITCH FOOT

Turn off the power switch before attaching the
foot.
The markings (A, B and C) on the tip of foot
indicate the needle positions that can be used for
guiding the fabric.
Cover stitch sewing
Fold the edge of the fabric to the wrong side and
press. Draw a line (D) with tailors chalk on the
right side of the fabric to mark the fabric edge.
Place the fabric so that the left needle drops
just to the left of the marked line (E). Lower the
presser foot. Sew carefully along the marked line.
When fi nished sewing, raise the presser foot and
remove the fabric to the rear. Draw the needle
threads to the wrong side of the fabric and knot
them together.
Free arm sewing
Remove the extension table. Stitch the hem in the
same manner as above. Continue to sew over the
stitches 2"(4 to 5 cm) beyond the starting point.
Trim the threads at the beginning and the end.

Coupez l'interrupteur d'alimentation avant de fi xer
le pied.
Les repères (A, B et C) au bout du pied indiquent
les positions de l'aiguille pouvant être utilisées
pour guider le tissu.
Couture en surpiqûre
Pliez le bord du tissu sur l'envers et appuyez.
Tracez une ligne (D) avec une craie de tailleur sur
l'endroit du tissu pour marquer le bord du tissu.
Placez le tissu de manière à ce que l'aiguille
gauche pique juste à gauche de la ligne de
marquage (E). Abaissez le pied-de-biche. Cousez
soigneusement le long de la ligne de marquage.
Lorsque vous avez fi ni de coudre, relevez le pied-
de-biche et retirez le tissu par l'arrière. Tirez les
fi ls de l'aiguille sur l'envers du tissu et nouez-les
ensemble.
Couture avec bras libre
Retirez la table d'extension. Cousez l'ourlet de
la même manière que ci-dessus. Poursuivez la
couture sur les points de 4 à 5 cm (2") au-delà du
point de départ. Coupez les fi ls au début et à la
fi n.
