IN CASE OF FIX INSTALLATION
Put the device on a plain, stable, horizontal place free of flooding. Make sure that the pump is protected from rain and water
jets. The suction pipes should be established from pipe of 1" nominal diameter, with foot valve installed at the end. The foot
valve should be placed minimum 30 cm below the water level. The suction pipe should slope from the device to the well
(slope of 6%). In case of sandy water, it is necessary to apply a suction side filter which will hinder sand from getting into
the pump.
Install the water supply apparatus as near to the place of water withdrawal as possible. In case of water level deeper than
necessary, install the water supply apparatus in a shaft formed in the proximity of the well. Design the shaft in such a way
that there is sufficient place in it for the person performing the work to maintain or repair the pump. Place the apparatus in
the shaft in such a way that the water discharged during bleeding does not reach it. Install a ladder fixed in the wall of the
shaft. Provide for the protection of the shaft from subsoil water, ventilation and locking. The water
supply apparatus and the water supplying pipeline should be protected from risk of frost therefore it is reasonable to place
the free-standing parts of the system in frost-proof depth. It is not allowed to place the water supply apparatus directly in the
well. Install the foot valve and the filter screen at the end of the suction pipe with sealing (junk or Teflon sealing). The condition
of the sealing is very important because in addition to the weight of the water column the pressure existing in the tank also
acts on the foot valve. The funnel used for filling up the pump should be installed in the delivery pipe with a shut-off valve.
Connect the delivery pipe to the 1" delivery pipe nozzle, possibly using a flexible pipe section. Perform the sealing of the pipe
connections carefully, using sealing material (Teflon cord, Teflon band).
FASTENING
Place the water supply apparatus on a surface equipped with solid covering and fasten it. The fastening should be stable;
make sure that it cannot loosen in case of possible vibration. Get the screws necessary for the fastening (4 pieces) into the
feet of the tank and tighten them. It is recommended to equip the screws with washers as well in order for them to bear
against as great surface as possible. Select the screws in accordance with the covering (e.g. using steel dowels, concreted
anchor screws, etc.).
