1. DESCRIPTION
1.1 Use
These electrical pumps have been designed to circulate swimming pool and spa water, be they private or public and
slightly loaded water transfer.

2. GENERAL
2.1 Introduction
You will find in this manual all the instructions which are necessary for the installation, the use and the maintenance of the
electrical pump. To obtain the performances, it is imperative to follow thoroughly all the recommendations of this manual.
2.2 Safety symbols
The people safety related instructions are illustrated by the two symbols hereafter:

2.3 I.D. plates features (CEE 89/392 p. 1.7.4.a.)
All the requirements stated on the plate must be scrupulously met.
2.4 Responsibility
The manufacturer or the distributor shall not be held responsible for any accident whatsoever on people or damages to the
rest of the installations and the guarantee shall be lost if the instructions in this manual as to the choice, the use, the
installation, the starting up and the maintenance of the pump are not met.
2.5 Standard
The electrical pumps are manufactured to meet the essential conditions of health and safety as per European directives
89/392/CEE, 91/368/CEE.
3. INSTRUCTIONS GENERALES CONCERNANT LA SECURITE DE L'UTILISATEUR
3.1
The user's safety during the operation of the pump can be ensured only if the utilization of the pump meets what is
stated on the pump. The working conditions and limits stipulated in this manual shall not be exceeded (Chapter 1.2.—
Technical characteristics). The relevant safety standards in force in each country must be met.
3.2
Make sure that the equipment has been selected to meet the application it has been designed for and that
installation, the starting up operation and the use of said equipment are correct. Please see chapter 1.2. (Technical
characteristics).
3.3
The installation, repair and maintenance operations are to be performed with electrical feed off.
3.4
The equipment shall not be moved during operation. The shifting operations are to be carried out with the
pump switched off.
3.5
The electrical connections to remain dry.
