ASSEMBLY
1. Put the threaded part of the tow ball
through the hole in the crossbar, screw on
the supplied lock nut and tighten until the
tow ball is firmly fixed on the crossbar.
2. Place the crossbar across the tow frame
on the trailer and hold one of the U-bolts
from underneath round one member of
the tow frame and round the crossbar.

3. Thread one of the clamping plates on the
595 mm U-bolt and fit a spring washer and a lock
nut on each end on the U-bolt, but do not
50 mm
tighten yet.
4. Fit the other U-bolt with clamping plate,
spring washers and lock nuts in the same
way round the other member on the tow

frame and round the crossbar, and then
adjust the position of the crossbar so that

the tow ball is positioned in the centre line

of the trailer.

5. Tighten the lock nuts of both U-bolts until
the crossbar is firmly fixed on the tow

frame.
