1 General
1.1 Introduction
These Operating Instructions contain a description of the units as well as important information on its safe operation
and maintenance. They should be kept in the vicinity of the unit and accessible to operating and service personnel at
all times.
1.2 Symbols
This symbol precedes all notices dealing with possible hazard to humans.
Please follow these notices accordingly.
1.3 Notes
1 Inspections and maintenance work shall be performed by trained personnel.
2 No modifications shall be made to the unit that may affect its safe operation without the express consent of the
manufacturer.
3 Maintenance to the electronic equipment shall be performed by qualified electricians only.
4 The "Set-up" section of these Operating Instructions shall be read prior to installation.
Emergency Off: Actuate the main switch on the temperature control unit.

1.4 Range of application

The temperature control unit is intended exclusively for heating and cooling injection moulds, diecasting dies, extrud-
ers, calenders, mixers and other consumers in areas not subject to explosion. Other applications must be approved in
advance by Regloplas or its representatives. The manufacturer bears no responsibility for unintended use.
The units are configured for use with water as follows: Model 90M up to 90 °C, with system pressure 0 bar and outlet
pressure max. 10 bar. Model P140M up to 140 °C, and Model P160M(D) up to 160 °C, both with system pressure
10 bar and outlet pressure max. 18 bar. See technical data.
2 Installation
2.1 Set-up
The unit is designed for an ambient temperature of 10 to 40 °C. When placing the unit, ensure sufficient ventilation is
provided. The distance between units and/or between the unit and a wall must be at least 10 cm. Ensure that the
ventilation slits are not covered.
