Connecting Up

Before making or changing any rear panel connections,
make sure that all the components are switched off and
unplugged from the power supply.

Using the S-Video output

As an alternative to the standard video output, you can
connect this system to your TV using an S-Video cable
(not supplied). S-Video separates the color and
brightness information and should give a better picture
than using the supplied video cable.
• Use an S-Video cable to connect the
S-VIDEO OUT of this unit to the S-Video
input on your TV.
Playing your TV and VCR through
this system
1 Use a stereo audio cable to connect the
audio outputs of your TV to the TV IN
(AUDIO) jacks of this unit.

Raccordements

Avant de faire ou de modifier tout raccordement au
panneau arrière, vérifiez que tous les composants sont
éteints et débranchés de l'alimentation.

Utilisation de la sortie S-Video

Comme alternative à la sortie vidéo standard, vous
pouvez raccorder cet appareil à votre téléviseur en
utilisant un câble S-Video (non fourni). S-Video sépare
l'information sur la couleur et la luminosité et devrait
fournir une meilleure image qu'en utilisant le câble
vidéo fourni.
• Utilisez un câble S-Video pour raccorder
la prise S-VIDEO OUT de cette unité à
l'entrée S-Video de votre téléviseur.
