| Foldable power wheelchair
With its integrated folding mechanism and low weight, the Via is easy
to take with you on a journey in your own car or also on a train.
It is classified in Category A in accordance with DIN EN 12184:2014.
The maximum payload is 120 kg.
Please note: We can only provide a warranty if the product is used
under the conditions specified and for the intended purposes.

2.6. Indications

Provision of this power wheelchair is suitable for adults with significant
through to fully-developed impairment of mobility/walking with
structural and/or functional damage of the lower extremities, e.g.
through
Amputation
Paralyses
Loss of limbs
Limb defects/deformity
Joint contractions
Joint damage
musculoskeletal/neuromusculoskeletal movement disorders
other illnesses
Provision of power wheelchairs is generally only advised where use of
manual wheelchairs is no longer possible because of the disability and
the electric wheelchair can be used properly.

2.7. Contraindications

Provision of this power wheelchair is not suitable for children, and for
adults with:
severe equilibrium disorders
reduced and insufficient vision
severe limitations of cognitive ability

2.8. Declaration of conformity

As manufacturer Bischoff & Bischoff declares, with sole responsibility,
that the Via foldable power wheelchair meets the requirements of the
93/42/EEC Directive.

2.9. Notes on driving performance

The range of the Via is approx. 15 km. The achievable range depends
on different factors:
Ground properties
Way of driving
Battery condition and charge
Load
Ambient temperature
Please note that the range stated by us was calculated under test
conditions:
Batteries which are as new and fully charged
Ambient temperature of 21 °C
max. payload of 120 kg
level, firm ground
constant driving speed
The following factors affect the driving performance and will thereby
possibly reduce the range by up to 50%:
poor battery charge level
low ambient temperature (below 10 °C)
frequent starting and braking
electromagnetic fields (see Chapter 2.2)
Never use your foldable power wheelchair with
empty or almost empty batteries. You may endanger
yourself and others by stopping unexpectedly.
