BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING

Symptom
Engine can not
start
Engine runs rough
Engine can not
reach full speed

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
2. Press the priming pump several times and drain the fuel from the fuel tank again.
3. Remove the oil filler cap and drain the oil.
4. Fill the engine oil to the edge of the oil filler neck.
5. Store the rotating floor sweeper in a clean area.
6. It is not recommended to use gas that has been stored over the winter months. Gas stored over
the winter months may become unstable and unable to start the engine.
Probable Cause
1. ON/OFF switch in OFF position
2. Gas Valve in closed position
3. Choke set to open position
4. Gas Tank empty
5. Spark plug dirty
6. Technical problem
7. Dirty or unstable gas
8. Low oil auto shut off
1. Wrong type of gasoline
2. Water in gasoline
1. Choke closed
2. Air filter clogged
3. Technical problem
Possible Remedy
Turn to on position
Push to open position
Set to closed position
Fill the Fuel
Remove spark plug and clean
Service by qualified mechanic
Try to re-start it with using newly
purchased gas.
Check oil level, add if needed
Empty tank and replace fuel
Empty tank and replace fuel
Open Choke
Clean air filter element
Service by qualified mechanic
