2.3 Start menu

The start menu is displayed on a Premium
control panel when the ventilation system is
operating. As standard value, the start menu
shows the current fan operating mode, selec-
tion of fan operating mode (+ -), weekday,
time and enter main menu.
Fan speed
As standard, three preset fan speeds can be
utilized: Away, Home and Boost.
The fan operating mode can always be
manually changed, even when the fan speed
is controlled from the weekly timer.
Fireplace function
The fireplace function is not displayed as
standard. Whenever required, you can activate
it from the service menu (see the 'Install. and
service' menu.
Problems caused by too little draught in an open
fireplace usually occur in the autumn, when the
temperature difference between the indoor and
outdoor air is slight and the chimney is cold.
The fireplace function decreases the speed of

the extract air fan and increases the speed of
the supply air fan for approx. 10 minutes. This
produces temporary excess pressure in the home
and in this way creates an updraught in the
chimney. The function can be switched off by
pressing in the button once again.
Unnecessary or excessively prolonged use of
the fireplace function in the winter can easily
activate the anti-freezing protection function.
While the anti-freezing protection function is
active, the volume of air discharged into the
home decreases, which causes slight negative
pressure resulting in a condition where smoke
is sucked in from the chimney flue and out
into the living space.
The ventilation unit is no source for
necessary replacement air while a fire is
burning in the fireplace.

You can enter settings that affect the opera-
tion and functions of the ventilation unit from
the menu.
Set the language
Select the appropriate language.
Install. and service
The functions in the 'Install. and service'
menu are described in the Installation,
operation and maintenance manual.
From this menu, you can decide which functions
you want to be able to use from the main menu.
From the 'Install. and service' menu, you can also
enter settings that affect the ventilation system's
operation while you commission or service the
unit. Possible alarms and the service reminder can
also be acknowledged from this menu.
Set the clock
Set the time and weekday.
Set the summer night cooling temperature
