Materials to be processed
Paints and lacquers containing solvents, acrylic paints, water-soluble paints, glazes,
polishes, wood preservatives, disinfection agents, plant protective agents, impregnating
agents as well as oil and other watery liquids.
The following sprayed materials are not suitable for processing
Dispersion and latex paints, materials that contain highly abrasive components, glazes with
coarse components, paint removers and caustic solutions, silicate paints. The processing
these sprayed materials can result in increased wear or in corrosive damage in the area
of the pump that are not covered by the Dynatec guarantee.
Preparation of the sprayed material
In order to be processed with the spray gun, the paints may have to be diluted.
Information on dilution for spraying purposes is given in the following viscosity table
(paint viscosity).
Measuring the viscosity
Immerse the viscosity cup (Fig. 1) into the sprayed material until it flows over the edge.
Lift the viscosity cup and measure the time (in seconds) until the liquid strand breaks.
Compare the measured "flow time" with the viscosity table.
Sprayed material
Paints that can be diluted with solvents / primers
Water-soluble paints / primers
