Start-up
Prior▪to▪initial▪use▪or▪when▪the▪automatic▪coffee▪maker▪has▪not▪been▪
operated▪over▪a▪long▪period,▪fill▪the▪appliance▪with▪the▪maximum▪
amount▪of▪water▪but▪without▪coffee▪powder,▪let▪the▪water▪boil▪and▪
finally▪rinse▪the▪filter▪and▪pot▪with▪hot▪water.

Setting the current time

After▪the▪power▪plug▪has▪been▪connected▪to▪a▪socket,▪„12:00"▪will▪be▪
indicated▪on▪the▪display.▪
Press▪the▪Prog▪button.▪„CLOCK"▪appears▪on▪the▪display.▪While▪the▪
Prog,▪h▪and▪min▪buttons▪are▪illuminated,▪you▪can▪set▪the▪current▪time▪
by▪pressing▪the▪h▪and▪min▪buttons.▪The▪clock▪will▪begin▪to▪run▪as▪soon▪
as▪the▪buttons▪are▪no▪longer▪illuminated.▪Confirmation▪is▪not▪required.
Note:▪After▪a▪power▪failure▪or▪after▪the▪power▪plug▪has▪been▪discon-
nected,▪the▪time▪must▪be▪reset.
