4. INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

a) First charge and manual recharging
1. Make sure that the on/off button (4-Fig 2) is in the 0 position (off).
2. Insert the charger's 9 V DC plug into the socket on the vacuum cleaner (14-fig 2) provided for this purpose.
3. Plug the charger into a 230 V AC - 50Hz wall socket. The LED light (3 - fig 2) flashes green to indicate that the
robot is charging.
4. When the LED light (3-fig 2) turns to solid green, your robot is fully charged. You can then remove the charger
from the socket and the 9 V DC plug from your robot.
Tip: The average charge time for your robot is 8 hours for 60 minutes of continuous operation. Before the first
use, it is strongly recommended that you charge the appliance for at least 12 hours to ensure that the battery is
fully charged.
b) Assembling the mop kit (fig.3)
1. Make sure that the on/off button (4-Fig 2) is in the 0 position (off).
2. Fix the mop head to the mop holder, ensuring that the adhesive part is on the correct side.
3. Attach the mop holder to the robot by inserting the 4 studs into the holes provided.
Tip: Clean the mop heads using clean water or put them directly into the washing machine (maximum temperature
of 30°C). Make sure that you dry the mops before their next use so as not to impede the robot's movement.
Warning: The mop holder must be firmly attached to the robot so as not to impede its movement. If you do not
want to use the mop function, remove the holder so as not to impede the movement of the vacuum cleaner.
c) Emptying the dust collection bin (fig.4)
Make sure that the on/off button (4-Fig 2) is in the 0 position (off).
Carefully remove the mop holder by pulling it upwards.
Place the robot upside down and open the dust collection bin by pressing on the button (11-Fig 2) designed for
this purpose.
Empty the dust collection bin straight into a dustbin by tilting the robot.
Close the dust collection bin, ensuring that it is clipped in place and that the mop holder is repositioned correctly.
Tip: Make sure that you empty the dust collection bin at least once a week and whenever your recharge your
robot to ensure that it functions correctly.
d) Cleaning the central brush (fig.5)
Make sure that the on/off button (4-Fig 2) is in the 0 position (off).
Remove the tab to the left of the central brush by pulling it backwards then upwards.
Remove the brush by pulling the left part upwards and then pulling the whole brush to the right.
Clean the side brush with a suitable cloth and fresh water.
Replace the brush by pushing the right part back into the hole provided, followed by the left part.
Replace the locking tab.
Tip: Clean the central brush regularly to increase the service life of your robot.
