After disinfection, the cuff cover should be rinsed and
left to air dry.
Single patient cuffs: The single patient cuff is to be
used on one and the same patient for the duration of
their treatment. The cuffs can be personalised. Do not
clean or disinfect the single patient cuffs. Dispose of
the cuff properly after they it is no longer being used
by the patient.
Warnings: 1. When the cuffs are not connec-
ted to monitor, always fit cap to tubing to prevent
accidental penetration of liquid. Liquid in the tubing
will damage the monitor. 2. Periodically inspect
and replace damaged or deteriorated cuffs. 3. Only
use the appropriate size cuff when the artery index
marker falls within the printed range. Otherwise er-
roneous readings may result. 4. Single-patient cuffs
are not intended for use on more than one patient.

Note: 1. Do not immerse the instrument in liquid
to clean it. 2. The instrument may not be sterilized!
3. The blood pressure monitor must be handled care-
fully and must not be compressed, exposed to sharp
objects or any other similar mechanical stress. 4. The
pointer on the instrument dial must point within the
tolerance range of the zero position when there is no
pressure in the cuff. 5. Always let all of the pressure
out of the cuff before storing the instrument. 6. Pro-
tect the surface of the stethoscope diaphragm from
damage. 7. Never inflate to more than 300 mmHg.
8. When exchanging or repairing parts, ensure that
only original KaWe replacement parts are used!
9. Always make sure that the hose system is airtight.
10. Calibration inspection – at least every 2 years –
can be per-formed either by the manufacturer or by
an authorized service centre in accordance with the
Medical Devices Operator Ordinance.
Guarantee: When used under normal circumstances
and with attention to these instructions (the User's
Manual), we guarantee this product for two years after
the date of purchase. When used properly and with
attention to our instructions (User's Manual), this de-
vice will have a product life of at least 10 years.
