Cleaning and maintenance

➤ If you wish to switch the refrigerator off:
– MF-05, MF-15: slide the switch (3 3, page 3) to the "OFF" position
– MF-18D: press the "OFF" button (5 4, page 4).
➤ Pull out the connection cable.
If you are not going to use the refrigerator for a long time, leave
the door slightly ajar to prevent unpleasant odours building up.
6.3 Quiet mode (only MF-18D)
➤ Press the "MUTE" button (5 7, page 4) to switch to quiet mode.
✓ The green LED (5 8, page 4) glows and the fan noise is reduced.
If you wish to end quiet mode, press the "MUTE" button again.
7 Cleaning and maintenance
Caution
Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
Caution
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during clean-
ing as these can damage the device.
Caution
Always pull out the mains plug before cleaning and maintenance.
➤ Occasionally clean the inside of the device with a damp cloth.
➤ Only MF-18D: empty the integrated drip tray at regular intervals (7 1,
page 4) (can only be used when the device is used vertically as a refrig-
erator).
