FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
6.1
MONITORING OF BAT TERY LEVEL
If the voltage is no longer sufficient in battery operation, this will be indicated both on the trans-
mitter and the receiver by the flashing operating LEDs.
6.2
R ANGE
Because of the physical conditions necessary for the spread of radio waves you will need
800
to determine the range of your baby monitor by testing it in your surroundings. In
Meter
optimum conditions a range of 800 m can be achieved. The actual range depends mainly
on local conditions. For example the location of the transmitter, the type of building or
atmospheric conditions must all be taken into account.
6.3
DIGITAL CODE
Transmission reliability and noise immunity of this baby call device are additionally
16
improved by a silent and proven coded digital signal. The coding ensures that the receiver
only switches on when noises (e. g. from the monitored baby) are heard by your own
transmitter.
6.4
REDUCTION OF ELECTRIC SMOG
The electromagnetic fields that occur when radio waves are produced are reduced as far
as possible by the automatic switch-off system.

6.5
TR ANSMISSION TECHNOLOGY
The 864-MHz radio technology enables the transmission of language and noises
864
wirelessly by radio.

6.6
R ANGE AL ARM
The receiver transmits a five-tone signal if it is outside the transmitter's range. The range
alarm is activated approx. 5 minutes after contact with the transmitter is lost.
Kontrolle
The receiver's range alarm is also actuated if:
the transmitter is switched off,
the transmitter is set on a different channel than the receiver,
the transmitter is tuned into a different DigitalCode to that of the receiver,
the transmitter is working with a charger with low battery package.
