5. BEFORE PUTTING THE EQUIPMENT INTO OPERATION

Dust extraction

The tool can be used with the dust collector or dust extractor. To use a dust extractor, do as
IT follows:
1. Release the dust collector from the tool.
EL 2. Put the adapter in the tool.
3.
Turn the adapter clockwise to fasten it.
4. Connect the dust extractor to the adapter.

WARNING. Do not use the dust extraction box when sanding metal.

The hot metal particles could cause residual wood dust or the box
itself to catch fire.

6. OPERATION
STARTING/STOPPING
NOTE:Check that the mains voltage matches the rated voltage on the type plate before
connecting the tool to the mains.
Switch the sander on by press the "I" mark on the on/off switch.
To turn off the sander, press the "O" mark.
NOTE: Always lift the sander from the work before switching on or switch off.
COARSE SANDING
Use coarse sandpaper. Press lightly for best results.
SANDING
1.
Place the tool with the full surface of the sandpaper against the surface to be sanded.
2. Apply an even pressure during the work. Pressing harder will not speed up the work, but
will put more strain on the tool and the sandpaper instead.
3. The sanding rate and pattern mainly depend on the coarseness of the sandpaper, the
speed of the pad, and the pressure.
